Our services have been carefully designed to assist with a variety of concerns

Our Services

EMDR therapy:

Reprocess difficult memories and find relief from what's holding you back.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) helps you work through distressing memories, negative beliefs, and emotional pain that may feel stuck. Through guided bilateral stimulation, we help your brain naturally process experiences that continue to affect your daily life. Our therapists tailor each EMDR session to your unique history and healing goals, creating a safe space for lasting transformation.

Anxiety therapy:

Find calm and develop tools to manage overwhelming worry.

We support you in understanding the root causes of your anxiety and developing personalized strategies to manage it. Using somatic and nervous system-informed approaches, we help you regulate your body's stress response and build resilience. Our goal is to help you feel more grounded, present, and confident in navigating life's uncertainties.

Trauma therapy:

Process and heal hurts from your past so you can move forward.

We help you process and heal past traumatic experiences by addressing emotional wounds, developing healthier coping mechanisms, and restoring a sense of safety. Our team uses evidence-based approaches including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Somatic Experiencing to help you integrate and release trauma stored in both your body and mind, honoring your individual pace and needs.

Addiction therapy:

Receive compassionate support to understand and heal the roots of addiction.

We help you explore the underlying emotional and relational patterns connected to addictive behaviors. Through a personalized, shame-free approach, we work together to develop healthier coping strategies, address past wounds, and build a stronger foundation for lasting change. Healing is possible, and you don't have to do it alone.

Couples therapy:

Strengthen your connection and build a more secure relationship together.

We help couples navigate conflict, improve communication, and deepen emotional intimacy. Using attachment-focused approaches, we guide you and your partner toward understanding each other's needs and creating a safer, more fulfilling relationship. Whether you're working through a specific challenge or seeking to reconnect, we meet you where you are.

Group Therapy:

Work alongside a group of people dealing with similar concerns.

Our clinicians lead each session and guide the group through various discussions, lessons, and exercises while ensuring a productive and safe environment. We offer two different groups: Trauma Skills (designed to help those with trauma acquire tools for emotional regulation and interpersonal skills) and Caring for the Caregiver (designed to support weary church/spiritual leaders, non profit workers, and front line workers).

Wilde Counseling offers both in-person counseling in North Druid Hills (near Atlanta) and virtual counseling throughout the state of Georgia.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Our philosophy is grounded in the understanding that therapy is a valuable resource for everyone, though its necessity may vary depending on the season of your life. If you’re experiencing anxiety, depression, the effects of trauma, or finding yourself feeling stuck or overwhelmed during a major life transition—such as early adulthood, career disruption, relationship changes, or loss—therapy can provide a steady and compassionate place to begin. Our work often supports clients who are curious about exploring patterns, attachment, and emotional experiences over time, while honoring where you are in your readiness for change.

If you have never experienced therapy but feel drawn to explore it, we invite you to schedule a free 20-minute consultation with us. During this brief conversation, we’ll listen to your concerns and goals, and together, we can determine whether therapy is the right next step on your journey.

  • Online therapy can be an excellent fit for some individuals, while others may find it more challenging to connect in a virtual space. If you’re unsure, we can explore this together during your 15-minute consultation. It is important to us that your therapy experience is both supportive and comfortable.

  • We work with individuals of all ages, from adolescents to young adults and beyond, though we do not currently provide services for children.
